Signing up as a writer at Freelance-writers.net is simple. At the upper right hand side of the home page, click the "Writer Sign Up" link. Fill in the form and wait for 24 hours.
You will be asked to complete and submit a sample article. You then will be notified via email whether or not your application has been approved. Be sure to remember the email you use to sign up, since that is where all notifications will be sent.
Once you are approved, go to www.freelance-writers.net and look for the writers' login box in the upper right hand corner. Login with the user id and password that you used while signing up and then update your profile.
Once you're finished, click on the New Projects link and pick up the project of your choice. Note: Initially we limit the amount of work you can accept - this is to ensure that you are not overloaded and can meet your deadlines. We will increase workloads on a per person basis. The project then appears in the "Projects" section. Please read the project details thoroughly and prepare content according to the client's requirements.
If you have any query related to the project, you can always submit a ticket to the freelance-writers.net administrator for further clarification.
Once you've finished the project, click "Submit Project" and upload the content. Your work then will be sent to the proofreader bin and, upon proofreader approval, will be passed on to the client.
The ability of our writers to produce quality work depends on the publisher being very clear and concise about their requirements and expectations when creating a project. The administrator is responsible for making sure the writer adheres to the guidelines set forth by the publisher. If guidelines are not met, the administrator will send the project back to you for editing, or may remove you from the project altogether. If the publisher deems the finished product to be unsatisfactory, the administrator will review and resolve the issue. However, we're confident the end results will exceed expectations.
If, after picking up a project, you think you can't finish it on time or you can't do a good job, click "Quit this project" or "Quit" on the listing of projects and forfeit that particular project. But DO NOT take undue advantage of this option. Use it only in the case of emergency!
You can request payment every Friday. Remember, you must have a minimum of $25 in earnings to request payment. Payment is made via PayPal only.
