Getting Started with a Writer's Account

Signing up as a writer at freelance-writers.net is simple. At the left hand side, in the menu bar , look for the “writers” section. Go to that section and you will find the link to click when you want to apply as a writer. Fill in the form and wait for 24 hours.

You will be asked to do a sample article and after you qualify; your application will be approved. You will be notified on the same day, via email. (Remember the email you use to sign up, since that will be the email address where all notifications will be sent).

Once you are approved, you can go to www.freelance-writers.net and look for the writers login in the left hand side menu bar. Login with the user id and password that you had used while signing up and then update your profile.

Once you are done, go to new projects and pick up the project of your choice. (Initially we limit the amount of work you can accept - this is to ensure, you are not overloaded and therefore miss deadlines. We will increase workloads on a per person basis.) The project then appears in “my projects” section. Read the project details thoroughly and prepare content customized to client’s requirements.

If you have any query related to the project, you can always PM (private message) the buyer for further clarification.

Once you are have finished the project, click “send project” and upload the content.
Your work then goes to the proofreader bin and upon proofreader’s approval, the work is passed to the client.

If the client finds anything missing or has any problem, he can request changes / revisions (he can do that only once). If there is any complaint against your project, it is your responsibility to rectify and upload the work as soon as possible.

However, after picking up a project, if you think you cannot finish it on time or you cannot do a good job on that particular project, click “I don’t want this project” and forfeit the project. But DO NOT take undue advantage of this option. Use it only in the case of emergency! 
 
You can request payment every Friday. Remember, you must have a minimum of $50's in earning to request payment. Payment is made via paypal.
